The Long Term

The two most important stakeholders in the arts ecosystem are the artists and their patrons (fans), yet a significant portion of the pie is retained by gatekeepers (labels) today. Artists need complete creative freedom and fans deserve to see the upside of helping an artist's ideas grow and spread through the fabric of culture.

A) Music NFT Production 🎹

What will the music studios of the future look like? How will they operate and evolve to include a web3 frame of mind?

The big-picture dream with Swaraj is the creation of a flagship decentralized creative studio. A platform that discovers, supports and represents artists in their creative web3 journey. We envision a community where artists have everything at their disposal to conceptualize, craft, and launch web3-centric experiences around their music.

The true beauty of music and culture creation is in the intersection between digital and physical. Live events will be our vehicle for building a cultural footprint and implementing web3 experiences on the ground, where we intend to start making inroads into ticketing, proof of attendance, digital goods, merchandising, etc.

B) Knowledge Advisory 🎧

What does the journey of a web3 native artist involve? How does Swaraj Labs onboard artists into web3?

Our artists will be introduced to all the new-age tools, best practices, and web3 resources so that they can get started in the space.

Swaraj artists will also be eligible for crypto grants, mentorship programs, and exclusive tools for a seamless onboarding experience. After all, web3 is all about participation and so it’s critical for artists to value the importance of nurturing their early believers. Artists going independent and direct to fans, cutting through middlemen, have seen compounding growth in their music careers.

C) Fan Community 👩🏻‍🎤

Why would fans want to be a part of Swaraj Labs?

We believe the future of artist-fan relationships lies in co-creating, leading to immense value capture from content that previously could not be directly monetized. Our focus is on creating lean-in experiences around music launches by making tiers of IP part of the public domain on-chain.

We also take merch seriously. Swaraj will offer premium apparel released in seasonal collections. We plan on launching tasteful on-trend clothing, as it is an integral part of the culture-building process. Embracing a new wave of game-changing technology doesn’t mean we leave nostalgic styles in the past. From vinyl cut with top tracks to merch that matches the music from our collections, we’ll be exploring the full potential of IP and collectibles as we bring the physical and digital worlds of music together.
